Melissa Griffith, BPS, RHIT, CRS, is a Program Coordinator for the Center for Nursing Excellence. She started her career at UAMS in 2020 as a Communications Specialist for the Data Coordinating and Operations Center (DCOC), working along with NIH and the ECHO ISPCTN. She has over 20 years of experience in marketing and public relations, focusing on leasing and sponsorship revenue events, and over 10 years of experience working for the state of Arkansas in areas such as sales and use tax, behavioral and mental health, and labor market information and statistics. Melissa is a Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) through the American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA) and a Certified Research Specialist through UAMS. She is a member of the National Society of Leadership and Success (NSLS), the National Technical Honor Society (NTHS), and the Society of Clinical Research Associates (SOCRA).
