In Remembrance of a Nurse

The UAMS Nurse Remembrance Committee exists to ensure that current UAMS nurses, retired UAMS nurses, and current UAMS College of Nursing students are not laid to rest without proper recognition of their dedication to UAMS and the patients they served.

The committee will provide a constant remembrance tribute to eligible recipients. The tribute will include presentation of the following to the family of the nurse or nursing student:

  • A UAMS remembrance tribute medallion
  • A card signed by UAMS employees with personal comments
  • An original poem written by a UAMS nurse
