UAMS Nurses “Elevating Excellence – I’m All In” This is our theme for UAMS Nurses Week 2026.

Nurses Week 2026

Celebration begins on Tuesday, May 5th through Monday, May 12th.

Tuesday, May 5th:
  • CNO Kick-Off/Blessing of the Hands: Hospital Lobby Gallery
    • Tammy Jones, CNO, will kick off the week with a brief time of encouragement as well as the Blessing of the Hands. You’re welcome to attend in person in the Hospital Lobby Gallery (10:00am to 11:00am or join remote via Zoom or UAMS Nurses Facebook page.
    • UAMS Nurses “Elevating Excellence – I’m All In” Group Photo (“Elevating Excellence – I’m All In” Nurses Week T-shirt required) at the Hospital Fountain right after the CNO Kick-Off (10:30am) (In case of rain, remain in Hospital Lobby Gallery).
Wednesday, May 6th:
  • Nursing Grand Rounds
    • Active Learning Center, Library, First floor (in person or remote via Zoom Noon to 1:00pm)
  • Professional Nursing Awards
    • Hospital Lobby Gallery (2:00pm in person – Calendar invitation only)
      • Join us on Zoom
Thursday, May 7th:
  • Welcome to Work
    • Lobby Cafe and Parking 2

  • Elevating Excellence for Wellness Yoga with Sarah Thomas
