The Orthopaedic Spine Hospital (TOSH) Inpatient

This 24 bed inpatient unit specializes in post operative care for ortho related surgical patients, i.e., including but not limited to surgical specialties (upper and lower extremities, shoulder, joints, spine, sports medicine, ortho oncology, and ortho trauma). The registered nurses work in a fast paced environment with an interdisciplinary team of Respiratory Therapy, Social Work, Case Management, and Rehabilitation specialists for a multidisciplinary approach to care. Specializing in elective ambulatory surgical procedures, there is the potential for multiple discharges and admissions per day. In addition, treating a growing population of orthopaedic patients with comorbidities and complexity requiring specialized training. Great teamwork.
