
Azeez Shaik, MSCS, joined the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) in 2026, serving as an Intermediate Data Analyst within the Center for Nursing Excellence. He holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, where he also served as a Graduate Assistant for Information Technology Services (ITS). During his tenure at UALR ITS, he managed enterprise infrastructure, optimized IT workflows through automation, and provided critical technical support, sharpening his ability to solve complex system problems. Prior to his current role, Azeez gained further technical expertise through work in IT infrastructure and systems engineering, specializing in automating data workflows and optimizing complex reporting systems. At UAMS, he leverages his background in programming and data analytics to support nursing quality initiatives, focusing on the integration and manipulation of clinical data to drive performance excellence and operational efficiency. His work is dedicated to advancing the data-driven capabilities of nursing leadership, ensuring that clinical education, transition-to-practice programs, and Magnet accreditation processes are supported by rigorous, accurate, and actionable analytics.
