Brittney Maddox, RN, Women and Infants Float Pool
Please join the Center for Nursing Excellence in congratulating Brittney Maddox, RN, for being selected as the DAISY Award recipient for the month of October!
Brittney Maddox, RN, Women and Infants Float Pool, and was nominated by a Patient. The nomination below reflects how Brittney impacted their life in a very special way.
Nomination: Brittney was beyond amazing. I was checked in for an induction that had a lot of spins. She saw my son’s heart rate going down and tracked it like a hawk and was in there in such amazing time. This was my first delivery, and it was extremely traumatic knowing something was going on. But Brittany constantly communicated with me, ensured me he would be okay but ensured he would be okay if we did something specific about it. Needless to say I ended up having an emergency c-section, and I fully believe my son would not be here in such amazing health if it was not for Brittany. Of course, all the staff has been amazing, but Brittany’s knowledge for her job, compassion for her patients (parents) and love for the tiny humans truly made this hospital one of a kind and amazing. Please give her a huge shout out for her hard work on 7/25/25 night shift, Dalton, Kyle and Tori will forever be grateful for all that you did for us!
Thank you, Brittney!
