Dear UAMS Nurses,
As we celebrate the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence, I want to thank each of you for the dedication, compassion, and excellence you bring to our patients, families, and teams every day.
Your commitment to caring for others — often during holidays, nights, weekends, and challenging moments — does not go unnoticed. I am incredibly grateful for all you do and the difference you make across UAMS.
I am also thrilled to share that nursing had a 76% response rate on the Employee Engagement Survey! This level of participation will give us good insight and direction on how to improve. Thank you for making sure your voices were heard.
I wish you and your families a safe and happy Independence Day! Don’t forget to hydrate!
With much appreciation and gratitude,
Tammy
