Alyson Everright, Clinical Care Assistant – F5 Neonatal ICU (NICU)
Please join the Center for Nursing Excellence in congratulating Alyson Everright for being selected as the July BEE Award winner!
Alyson is a Clinical Care Assistant in the Neonatal ICU (NICU) and was nominated by coworker. The following is the story of how Alyson impacted their life in a way that they will never forget.
“Alyson is a CCA in the NICU and always takes the initiative to ensure our families and patients receives the best of care. For example last Friday the charge and acuity nurse were on a delivery. They normally have to take all the Mothers temperature and order and pick up lunch. Alyson on her own took the temps and order the lunches and passed them out without being asked and informed them it had been taken care of. Alyson is continually asking what she can do to assist all the nurses in the unit. We have been short on the front desk and she has arranged her schedule to fill all the gaps. Even when she was working the front desk and unable to leave she make sure that others duties that needed to be done were taken care of. She is always willing to help no matter what the job with a smile and great attitude. We are so thankful that Alyson is a part of our team.”
