Na’imah Abdullah is a Patient Representative at Ortho Clinic Shackleford and was nominated by a co-worker. The following is the story of how Na’imah impacted their life in a way that they will never forget.
Na’imah is the patient representative, and she has shown me unconditional kindness and patience throughout my first few months working here. She has helped me understand the ins and outs of my job without making me feel like I do not know what I am doing. When a patient comes in that are rude or confrontational, I will ask Na’imah for her assistance in reassuring we are communicating properly. She always knows how to handle almost any situation I need help with, or she will point me in the direction of someone who does. She has been so encouraging and supportive of my time here as an access coordinator that I couldn’t think of any other person worthy of this award.
