Tomeka Smith is a Medical Assistant for the JTS/ENT Clinic and was nominated by a co-worker. The following is the story of how Tomeka impacted their life in a way that they will never forget.
“Tomeka is the glue that holds our ENT team together! She is consistent and effective in her work which is evidenced by the amount of respect her peers have for her. She is knowledgeable and is the “go to” when anyone asks about a procedure, scopes usage/care, need for a particular piece of equipment and so much more. She comes in early on high volume days to make sure all the rooms are set up and ready for patient care. She has earned the respect of not only her clinic team but our Access team, Audiologist, Physicians, Sterile Processing HLD and our Patients!! Her work ethic, teamwork, calm demeanor and overall knowledge makes her an excellent candidate for the BEE Award!”
