Stephanie Thomas, Patient Services Associate – PRI 6 North

Stephanie is a Patient Services Associate in PRI 6 North and was nominated by a coworker. The following is the story of how Stephanie impacted their life in a way that they will never forget.
“Near shift change, a Code Blue was called for a patient. Stephanie was the 1:1 sitter with the patient. She noticed a change in the patient’s condition and notified the RN, immediately. The Code Team arrived. Stephanie stayed with the patient, and without being asked to, kept a written record of vitals, blood sugar levels, etc. She wrote this information on her hand! Later, the RN needed some information for her documentation, and Stephanie was able to provide it.
Stephanie is always pleasant with patients. She does her job without much supervision. I am always glad to see her when she comes through the door. Stephanie is exceptional every day.”
