April 2020 BEE of the Month

BEEKhalilah Stubbs, Access Coordinator – Neurology/Headache Clinic

Please join the Center for Nursing Excellence in congratulating Khalilah Stubbs for being selected as the April BEE Award winner!

Khalilah is a Access Coordinator in Neurology/Headache Clinic and was nominated by a Patient. The following is the story of how Khalilah impacted their life in a way that they will never forget.

“I had an 8:00 appointment on January 17, 2020 and was asked to arrive 15 minutes earlier to register, which I did.  There was one person waiting already, and several arrived soon afterward.  No one was available to register the patients until the supervisor was contacted.  Khalilah arrived soon, before her clock in time, and without putting her hat and coat away, immediately sat down and started working.

She was consistently professional, helpful, friendly, and calm regardless of all the issues occurring.

Her supervisor told her to clock in when she started working – something Khalilah wasn’t concerned about. She saw the patients and opted to take care of all of us ASAP.  Her customer service skills are excellent.  She was always patient with everyone, smiled and reassured each person.  I have trained employees, taught customer service for decades.  Khalilah has a lot going for her and if she remains at UAMS I hope she goes far.”

Way to go Khalilah Stubbs.

Please congratulate Khalilah for Beeing _Exceptional _Every day at UAMS!
