An entire floor of the Pulaski County Central Health Unit is devoted to the full spectrum of women’s health care with a staff of qualified medical and nursing personnel on hand to meet any and all needs.
WIC also is located in the building to help women needing nutritional assistance, and a local Medicaid office is on site for women delivering at UAMS Medical Center and needing to apply for Medicaid.
The services of the UAMS Women’s Clinic include:
High-risk maternity services
Certified nurse midwives
Discount billing program
Certified Spanish interpreters
Childbirth classes and health education
The Arkansas Department of Health Immunization Clinic for your children is also located in the building.
Our Women’s Clinic is the obvious choice for those looking for complete women’s health care at one location and at an affordable cost. Free and convenient parking is available in the front and side of the building.

How do I request a prescription refill or contact a nurse from the clinic?
To refill a prescription, please ask your pharmacy to send an eScribe request to our clinic, or you can request a refill during your appointment. If you originally filled your prescription at the UAMS Outpatient Pharmacy, you can also refill your prescription online.
