Treatment/Procedure: Endometrial Ablation

Endometrial Ablation is a non-surgical procedure where a doctor uses one of many possible methods to remove a thin layer of tissue that lines the uterus.

Removing this layer of tissue is done to reduce or completely stop a woman’s menstrual bleeding.

It is important to know that having an endometrial ablation is only recommended for women who do not plan to have children at any point in the future.
