As the outpatient director of the Women’s Mental Health Program, Dr. Shona Ray-Griffith is dedicated to serving the needs of pregnant and postpartum women with a variety of mental illness.

Academic Biography

Shona Ray-Griffith, M.D., is an associate professor at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences with primary appointment in the Department of Psychiatry and secondary appointment in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She graduated from the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston in 2009 and completed her residency in the Department of Psychiatry at UAMS in 2014. She also completed a one-year fellowship in perinatal psychiatry at UAMS in 2015.
