About Dr. White
Clinical Biography
Dr. White is an Associate Professor for the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. She is a native Arkansan who earned her medical degree from UAMS in 2013. She completed her residency training in OBGYN from the University Of Missouri- Kansas City in 2017. She is a member of the Gold Humanism Honor Society. In 2015 and 2016 Dr. White was awarded the Truman Medical Center Emergency Department Consultant of the Year. She was also awarded the Department of OB GYN Resident Teaching Award in 2015. Dr. White enjoys all areas of women’s health and is trained to perform Robotic surgery.

Dr. White has been my gynecologist over a decade. She is very thorough with her students that I know I will be in good hands. Her nurses are the best at UAMS. They take the time to care for me and I love encouraging the student doctors. They will be great with time.

Dr. Alexis White was not rushed and explained everything she was going to do and explained as she did it. Checked with me several times to make sure I was ok. Nurse had a gentle hand on me encouraging me and letting me know it was painful.

My GYN doctor is exceptional and excellent. She is knowledgeable and researched answers to my question about newest treatments for bone density. She does gentle exams. She explains things in ways I can understand. She is a good listener.
