After Hours

If you are in need of urgent or emergency care, call 911 or go to your nearest emergency department at your local hospital.

If you are sick or have a minor injury and need to talk to someone right away, you can access UAMS HealthNow for a video visit with a UAMS Health provider 8 a.m. – 8 p.m., seven days a week.

The UAMS Health Breast Center at the Winthrop P. Rockefeller Cancer Institute is home to the most advanced breast screening and diagnostic technology available in the country.

Our fellowship-trained breast imaging faculty use the most advanced tools available in breast health, including:

3D Mammography (Digital Breast Tomosynthesis)
Handheld and Automated Whole-Breast Ultrasound
3T MRI Magnet with a dedicated breast coil for Breast MRI
New state-of-the-art Contrast Enhanced Mammography (launching October 15)
SmartCurve™ comfort paddles to minimize discomfort

Services extend beyond our main campus with:

Two new MammoVans equipped with 3D mammography traveling statewide
An additional 3D mammography unit at our off-campus gynecology clinic

Parking Information

Parking is available in Parking 3, a parking deck at the corner of South Cedar Street and West Capitol Avenue. Parking stubs for patients are validated in the clinic. For your convenience, park on Levels 2B, 3B, 4B or 5B.

Valet parking is available in front of the UAMS Winthrop P. Rockefeller Cancer Institute for a fee.

Take the UAMS Winthrop P. Rockefeller Cancer Institute elevators in Parking 3 at Level 2B.
Exit the walkway on Level 2B of Parking 3 and you will be at the entrance to the UAMS Winthrop P. Rockefeller Cancer Institute.
Enter the UAMS Winthrop P. Rockefeller Cancer Institute and take Elevator D to the third floor or visit the Welcome Desk for assistance.

Appointment Information

The UAMS Health Breast Center is a self-referral clinic. Although UAMS does not require a referral for this clinic, some insurance providers require a referral for specialty care. Please check with your insurance provider prior to requesting an appointment. Call our appointment line to make an appointment.

What to Bring to Your Appointment

For your first appointment, please bring a photo ID and your insurance card along with a list of any medications you’re taking, including over-the-counter medications. You should also bring any medical records you can provide, including slides or test results from other clinics.

For future appointments, please provide updated medical and insurance information.

UAMS Health MyChart

UAMS Health MyChart is a free online patient portal that gives you secure, 24-hour access to your health information. You can view lab and test results, send messages to your doctor, make appointments, pre-register for visits, refill prescriptions, and pay your bills. New patients can also register for MyChart and schedule their first appointment at participating clinical locations using the same simple tool—making it easier than ever to get started with UAMS Health. Ask your provider or clinic staff to send you a sign-up link by email or text. Once you receive the link, you’ll have eight hours to sign up using just your name and date of birth.
