Amanda Lobbs, RN – Float Pool
Please join the Center for Nursing Excellence in congratulating Amanda Lobbs, RN for being selected as the DAISY Award recipient for the month of November!
Amanda works in the Float Pool and was nominated by a patient. The nomination below reflects how Amanda impacted their life in a very special way.
“I had a pretty intense C-section and afterward struggled with extreme pain and blood loss. Miss Amanda stayed right on top of every symptom that I had and even stayed over her scheduled time to make sure I was ok and taken care of. She went above and beyond any expectations one could have and reassured me the whole way that my baby and I was in great hands. She also held my hand while I cried and made sure I felt secure and not alone.
Words can never express how much of an impact she had on my life and I couldn’t have asked for better care. She is very deserving of this award and so much more for making one of the most terrifying moments of my life the best moments of my life. Absolutely amazing RN.”
Great job, Amanda!
