Jasmine Bell, RN, F6 – Medical Specialties
Please join the Center for Nursing Excellence in congratulating Jasmine Bell, RN, for being selected as the DAISY Award recipient for the month of July!
Jasmine Bell, RN, works on F6 – Medical Specialties and was nominated by a patient’s family member. The nomination below reflects how Jasmine impacted their life in a very special way.
Nomination: Jasmine cared for my sister for 2 days during our hospital stay. My sister was very sick and was scared to be in the hospital and was wanting to leave due to her anxiety. Jasmine was so kind and compassionate and was the reason my sister stayed in the hospital and received the most excellent care. My sister was very sick and put off going to the hospital due to being afraid of how she would be treated because of her past experiences, and I believe Jasmine went above and beyond and her compassionate heart and kindness may have saved my sister’s life. As a nurse myself, I believe other nurses, young and seasoned, could use Jasmine’s example to become better nurses themselves. I believe Jasmine is most worthy of this award because she showed that not only medicine, skill and knowledge saves lives, but also the simplest basic human need of kindness, love, listening, nonjudgement and compassion. Jasmine mirrors these qualities that many nurses today either don’t have or have lost along the way. Thank you, Jasmine, for being the hands and feet of Jesus. We will never forget the difference you made.
Great job, Jasmine!
