Hi. I’m Jeana, certified Grief Yoga teacher® and family aftercare coordinator at ARORA. In my own 20-year yoga practice, I’ve found yoga has enabled me to slow down and find some peace even in the saddest and most difficult of times.
As a teacher, I’m able to share the tools of yoga and meditation for self-care to families dealing with serious illness and grief. Grief yoga combines movement, breath techniques, and different forms of yoga to aid in processing and connecting with the grief. Please join me for virtual practice via Zoom at 11 a.m. on the second Tuesday of the month this May-August. All skill levels welcome. Practice may be done in a chair or on a yoga mat. For more information or to reserve your spot, please call me at (501) 907-9125 or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
2021 Mamie’s Virtual Memory Walk
We are taking our Poppy Party virtual once again! Team fundraising is now open. Form a team in memory of your baby or child and help us raise money and awareness for the Mamie’s mission. Then, gather with friends and family on June 20th, Father’s Day weekend, and walk in memory of your baby/child. We will host a special online program the day of the walk featuring our Mamie’s team, plate recipients and team fundraisers. We want to recognize you and your child … so make sure and sign up for the event.
