Infant Loss Financial Assistance

Angel Names Association

This organization offers financial assistance to families that have experienced a stillborn loss at 20+ weeks gestation through two different programs:

  1. SEOLE Program: provides financial assistance for families assisting with expenses related to autopsy, funeral/burial, cremation, cemetery plot, headstone/monument
  2. GRASP Program: provides funding for bereaved families in need who are seeking the support of a counselor to address grief related to baby’s stillbirth

How To Apply

Download and complete the Request For Assistance (RFA) form from the website. Submit your completed RFA Form by USPS, fax, or email.

Additional documentation needed for application:

  • A copy of each invoice for which you are requesting financial assistance

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Your family must live in the United States
  • Your baby was stillborn at 20+ weeks gestation with no signs of life (heartbeat, respirations, etc.)

The Audrey & McKenna Foundation

This foundation provides free handmade and personalized wooden cremation boxes for families who have lost a child from gestation to the age of 5.

Eligibility Requirements:

  • You must submit a bill for your application to be considered.
  • Your bill will only be covered after insurance has been applied.

Hayden’s Helping Hands

This organization provides financial assistance to families of a stillborn baby who was at least 20 gestational weeks old at the time of delivery. They provide assistance up to $1,000 towards medical bills directly associated with the delivery of the stillborn baby.

The Luca John Foundation

This organization provides financial assistance towards funeral and burial costs for families who have experienced the loss of a baby 12 months and younger or stillborn.

This organization provides financial assistance to families who have lost a child. Financial assistance is provided for medical and funeral expenses of children 13 years and younger.

This organization provides financial assistance to families who have lost a child between the age of 20 weeks gestation and 2 years old. Financial assistance can be provided for funeral, burial, monument, and counseling costs.

The For You Foundation – Jaxon Riley Memorial Grant

This organization provides financial assistance in the amount of $500 on a quarterly basis. Applications are open March 1-31, June 1-30, September 1-30, and December 1-31.

  • You are a resident of the United States.
  • You have experienced the loss of a child 20 weeks gestation to 1 year old.
  • Your child loss has occurred within the past year.
  • You have a need for financial assistance due to leave taken when child was born.
  • You can demonstrate need for financial assistance (EX: billing statements, notices, additional evidence of need)

Team Mercy

This organization seeks to offer financial support to families through Mercy’s Gift so that other siblings may also experience stability in the midst of the chaos surrounding the loss of a young sibling. Funding is used continue a sibling’s activity in which they are already involved in; extracurricular, academic, or mental health related.

Trappist Caskets

This organization offers free urns or caskets for families who have experienced infant loss. Caskets and urns are handcrafted and blessed by the Trappist Monks of New Melleray in Iowa.

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Any family that has experienced child loss.
  • Family must cover cost of shipping.
