The UAMS Medical Center Auxiliary is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to supporting patients, caregivers, and staff at UAMS Medical Center through fundraising, charitable giving, and community philanthropy.
Founded in the early decades of the 20th century as the Women’s Auxiliary to the University of Arkansas Medical School Hospital, the Auxiliary has a long history of service to Arkansas’s flagship medical center in Little Rock. That commitment remains as strong as ever today.
The Auxiliary supports patient- and family-centered initiatives spanning care management, hospital improvement projects, and inpatient discharge planning. This organization’s work is grounded in good stewardship of the resources that generous donors, dedicated volunteers, and caring community partners make possible.

How the Auxiliary Supports Patients and Caregivers
Patient- and Family-Centered Programs Powered by Community Support
Auxiliary supporters give in many ways—volunteering their time and talents, contributing goods and services through initiatives like the Annual Holiday Blanket Drive, and providing tax-deductible financial gifts or membership dues. Together, these contributions make a meaningful difference for patients and families during some of life’s challenging moments.
Your donation to the UAMS Medical Center Auxiliary directly strengthens the patient and caregiver experience, helping to build the bridges that carry people from an inpatient stay back to recovery and life in their home community. Every contribution to patient support in Arkansas creates a lasting impact for patients, caregivers, and the UAMS community.
