Sign up for our prenatal classes, conveniently located on the ground floor of the UAMS Health Women’s Center. All classes are free for UAMS patients and employees.

Breastfeeding (Available in Spanish)
Breastfeeding is natural, but it’s a skill that can take practice and support. Learn the importance and benefits of breastfeeding and answers to common questions, including tips for returning to work or school.
Childbirth
Learn what to expect during labor and delivery including comfort techniques, labor positions, vaginal and cesarean birth, and preparing for your hospital stay.
Fourth Trimester
Learn how to care for your healing body, changing emotions and the discomforts often experienced after giving birth.
Newborn Care and Safety
Your baby is on the way and there is a lot to think about. Learn how to bathe, diaper and hold your newborn. Discuss ways to make your home safe before baby starts to crawl. Includes relief of choking and CPR basics.
Virtual Prenatal Classes
Virtual prenatal classes are a great way for expectant parents to prepare for labor and birth, minimize any fears and learn information to help you make well-informed decisions.
