How do I request a prescription refill or contact a nurse from the clinic?
Please call the clinic at 501-686-5822, or you can request prescription refills during your appointment. If you originally filled your prescription at the UAMS Outpatient Pharmacy, you can also refill your prescription online through MyChart.
Parking is available in Parking 3 at the corner of Cedar and Capitol. Valet parking is available in front of the Outpatient Center
Directions From the Parking Area
- Go to level 3A in the parking deck and follow signs to Elevator F.
- Take Elevator F to the 1st floor.
You can request an appointment online through MyChart or you can call 501-686-5822. Your primary care physician will need to provide a referral for an appointment to the Jones Eye Institute for many conditions. For other conditions, we recommend you check with your insurance company before your appointment regarding procedures for referrals.
What to Bring to Your Appointment
For your first appointment, please bring a photo ID and your insurance card along with a list of any medications you’re taking, including over-the-counter medications. You should also bring any medical records you can provide, including slides or test results from other clinics.
For future appointments, please provide updated medical and insurance information.
UAMS MyChart is a patient portal that gives you free, secure 24-hour online access to your health information. You can see your lab and test results, send messages to your doctor, make appointments, refill prescriptions and pay your bills. Ask your clinic staff or hospital nurse how to sign up for UAMS MyChart.
