About Dr. Sterling
Clinical Biography
David A. Sterling is an assistant professor of plastic surgery in the Department of Surgery at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. He is board certified by The American Board of Plastic Surgery, Inc.
Dr. Sterling’s interests in aesthetic surgery include facial rejuvenation, rhinoplasty, breast and body contouring, as well as minimally and non-invasive treatments. His interests in reconstructive plastic surgery include breast reconstruction, post-Mohs reconstruction, face trauma, and complex soft tissue management.
Originally from Massachusetts, Dr. Sterling completed his six-year integrated plastic surgery training at the University of Kansas Medical Center in Kansas City.

Academic Biography
Dr. Sterling received his Bachelor of Science in biochemistry and pharmacology at McGill University in Montreal, Quebec. He earned his medical degree at Geisinger Commonwealth School of Medicine in Scranton, Pennsylvania. In medical school, he graduated top of his class and was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. Dr. Sterling completed his six-year integrated plastic surgery residency training at The University of Kansas Medical Center in Kansas City, Kansas.

Dr. Sterling is a phenomenal plastic surgeon! He made me feel very comfortable with no judgments! He told the truth about necessary and unnecessary procedures that I had questions about! I cannot recommend him enough![NAME]: very personable and friendly! She answered my concerns and made me feel comfortable with the visit! She is a very sweet person!
