Treatment/Procedure: Brachioplasty

Also called: Arm Lift

An arm lift, or brachioplasty, involves removing excess skin and fat along the upper arm to improve contour. The length and orientation of the scar is determined by the amount of excess tissue the patient has. The scar is planned in such a way to hide it along the inside of the arm. Liposuction may be performed in conjunction with an arm lift to help improve contour.
