Medical Oncology/Transplant (E7)
E7 has 28 private rooms and provides state of the art therapies, including CAR T cell therapies, stem cell transplant and a wide range of hematology/medical oncology patients. Practicing in this environment allows the registered nurse to develop skills in biotherapy administration, cellular therapies, chemotherapy, management of a range of IV/central access devices and a variety of symptoms associated with the diseases and/or treatments. Beyond medical treatment, we understand the importance of holistic care. Our nursing staff is dedicated to providing comprehensive support, addressing not only the physical aspects of treatment but also the emotional needs of our patients and their families. A strong interdisciplinary team including hematologists, oncologists, nurses, nutritionists, pharmacists, PT/OT/Speech therapists, and social workers support the patients in their various phase of treatments. This interdisciplinary team works to develop personalized care plans and ensures seamless coordination of care. We value open communication and encourage active involvement of patients and their families in decision-making processes.
Stem Cell Transplant/Myeloma (F7)
F7 is a 30 private bed unit which specializes in the care of Multiple Myeloma patients. Team members include physicians, registered nurses, APRN’s, clinical pharmacists, dietitians, social workers, chaplains, physical and occupational therapists, and psychologists. This team provides continuity of care for all patients receiving stem cell transplants, both autologous and allogeneic, CAR T Cell Therapy, other cellular therapies, and Multiple Myeloma patients receiving therapy on active research trials.
Medical Oncology/GYN Oncology (H7)
H7 has 30 private rooms and provides state of the art therapies to a wide range of patients including Family Medicine, GYN Oncology, Medical Oncology, and Multiple Myeloma. Practicing in this environment allows the RN to develop skills in biotherapy and chemotherapy administration, management of various central venous access devices, postoperative care, and management of supportive care associated with the disease process and/or treatment, and development of skills in emotional support and palliative care. H7 has a strong interdisciplinary team including nurses, nutritionists, pharmacists, physicians, and social workers who support the patient in their various therapies.
