Before Coming to UAMS
If you have any symptoms of COVID-19, think you may have been exposed to someone with COVID-19, or have tested positive for COVID-19, call the UAMS appointment center at (501) 686-8000 to reschedule your appointment. You may also ask if your appointment can be done by phone or video.

What to Expect at Your Appointment
UAMS has safety measures in place to protect our patients and employees. Everyone who comes to UAMS is required to wear a mask and pass a health screening before entering the building. You will also have your temperature taken. Please wear a clean mask to your clinic visit, and do not remove it until asked to do so by a UAMS employee.

Outpatient Visitor Guidelines
Patients must come to their visit alone. A friend or family member may come to an appointment only if the patient is under 18 or is not mentally or physically able to go to the appointment alone. You are welcome to include a friend or family member in your appointment by phone or video chat.
If you need a wheelchair from your car to your appointment, transport staff may be available at the main UAMS campus. Contact your clinic for more information.

About Neighborhood Clinic — North Street
The Neighborhood Clinic — North Street offers internal medicine services, primary health care and health maintenance services for adults in northwest Arkansas. You can have an annual checkup, receive your general vaccines and even receive women’s health care at our clinic. We address your internal medicine needs, and we also coordinate specialty care when you need it. Walk-in visits and same-day sick visits are available.
Our clinic is a resident physician-run clinic. Residents are qualified physicians in postgraduate training (residency) who practice under the supervision of an attending physician.
Parking Information
Patients can park near the North Street Clinic entrance and call the clinic upon arrival for phone pre-screening. Parking is also available on the upper level parking deck near the main entrance.
