Why UAMS? I chose UAMS because it offers the combination of strong clinical training, diverse patient care experiences, and a supportive learning environment that I was looking for in the transition from pharmacy student to practicing pharmacist. The program's opportunity to train in an academic medical center, care for high acuity patients, and collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams is what drew me to UAMS. I believe these experiences will help me grow clinically and become a confident, well-rounded pharmacist.

Why UAMS: I chose UAMS because it is the state's only Level I Trauma Center and the only academic medical center. During my interview, everyone was so welcoming and friendly that I immediately felt comfortable; thus, I could tell the preceptors truly supported one another and created a positive learning environment. After the interview, I had a strong feeling that UAMS was a place where I would be challenged, supported, and able to grow throughout my residency.
