If you are sick or have a minor injury and need to talk to someone right away, you can access UAMS HealthNow for a video visit with a UAMS Health provider 8 a.m. – 8 p.m., seven days a week.

When your pain and discomfort keeps you from doing the things you love to do, it’s time to see one of our orthopaedic experts. Our team of fellowship-trained providers are committed to providing high-quality orthopaedic specialty care in a state-of-the-art facility.
The Specialty Clinic, located in The Orthopaedic and Spine Hospital, provides services for

The Specialty Clinic offers:
- Convenient check-in and open and spacious waiting areas
- Clinics for orthopaedic trauma, orthopaedic oncology, orthopaedic spine, and hip and knee orthopaedics
- Advanced imaging
- Dedicated casting room for dressing, casting, adjusting and removal of injury casts
Parking Information
- After turning off of Cottage Drive, use the right lane to drop off patients under the overhang.
- Continue straight to the roundabout for parking.
- Enter through the gate and take a ticket. Take your ticket with you to be validated for free parking.
- Handicapped and mobility-accessible parking is on the right. Additional parking is available on the left.

- Enter the building at the patient entrance near the patient drop-off area.
- Go to the main desk near the cafe to check in for your appointment or to request additional information.

Appointment Information
Appointments in the Specialty Clinic may require a referral, based on your insurance requirements. Please contact your primary care doctor or visit one of our primary care providers to obtain a referral.
If you prefer to call and request an appointment, please call 501-686-6067 for new patients, returning patients and referral appointments.
What to Bring to Your Appointment
For your first appointment, please bring a picture ID and your insurance card. The UAMS Health medical staff will also need information about any medications you’re taking, including over the counter medications. You should also bring any medical records you can provide. Also, bring a completed copy of the Patient Health Questionnaire sent to you after you set your first appointment. For future appointments, please advise us of any changes in your insurance information or your medications.
