All the staff was professional and supportive from the doctors to the nurses. They didn't always tell me ahead of time about side effects that might occur, but when they occurred, they were helpful.

I understand that UAMS is a teaching hospital, and I love that. I will say that having several people in my room during the checkup was overwhelming to me. I had some questions I would have felt more comfortable asking with a smaller group. I also was accidentally removed from the schedule because of another patient with my same last name had an earlier appointment. I waited for over an hour in the waiting room, and that was frustrating. Dr. Spillman was very apologetic and concerned about it too. I still feel like UAMS has the best care offered in Arkansas!
