We do high-tech surgeries. So we do robotics. We do laser surgery. All of that is available
within a team concept built around you. In the operating room we are using an exciting array of
technologies including robotics. Now people assume that the robot just does the surgery and that’s not what happens. The robot is just a platform of surgical tools that are very small. So
instead of having a very large incision, women end up with incisions they’re just about the size of
their fingernail and when we do these complex cancer surgeries we can take out lymph nodes,
we can do hysterectomies and the women are able to go home the same day and their recovery time is shortened by about 2 weeks so that means that they get up and around sooner and they
can take care of their families and they can be back to their normal activities.
