About Meredith Olmstead

Clinical Biography

Meredith Olmstead, Au.D., is a doctor of audiology at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. Meredith is a highly experienced professional that is trained to treat patients of all ages with hearing conditions. She performs diagnostic audiological evaluations related to hearing health including otoscopies, otoacoustic emission screenings, hearing evaluations, hearing aid fittings, as well as many other screening and examination tools. Meredith is trained to provide comprehensive hearing aid evaluations, tests, fittings, adjustments and maintenance. Meredith is a board-certified fellow through the American Academy of Audiology as well as holding a Certification of Clinical Competency from the American Speech – Language Hearing Association (ASHA).

Meredith’s clinical focus is related to the diagnosis and treatment of hearing loss and all associated conditions. She is highly trained in the testing, fitting, evaluation, and maintenance of hearing aids.

Academic Biography

Meredith Olmstead attended the University of Arkansas Little Rock where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Communication Disorders graduating magna cum laude.  She then attended UAMS where she earned her Doctor of Audiology graduating summa cum laude.  Meredith is a board-certified fellow of the American Academy of Audiology and holds a Certification of Clinical Competency from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).  She was 2017 recipient of the UAMS Health Professions Scholarship and the 2016 recipient of the James Wear Scholarship.
