About Dr. Agesilas
Clinical Biography
Marielie “Heidi” Agesilas, M.D., is a member of the UAMS Family Medicine Residency Program’s Class of 2014. Originally from Puerto Rico, Agesilas joined the UAMS Northwest Regional Campus faculty upon graduation from our program and has been a staple on our team ever since.
Agesilas plays the violin and the viola. She enjoys traveling, spending time with friends, arts and crafts, investing time reading good books, listening to thriller audiobooks, autobiographies and podcasts. She is bilingual and has basic knowledge of French. She has also traveled extensively.

I went in for a wellness exam and he never examined me/ looked in my ears, listened to my heart chest sounds etc. Thought I was going in for more than a quiz of questions (that I already answered in my chart before the anppointment) and a blood test. They did refer me to another doctor and a gyno.

The care giver was not the problem. The caregiver was not the doctor I selected nor was I given an explanation on my initial selection I would be handed off to a resident.
