Clinical Biography

Matthew Landrum, M.D., is a board-certified pediatric orthopaedic surgeon at Arkansas Children’s Hospital who specializes in complex spine deformity and scoliosis, as well as trauma, hip dysplasia, and other lower extremity conditions and injuries. His personalized treatment approach focuses on reducing pain, improving function, and preventing disability.

Dr. Landrum was born and raised in Lafayette, Louisiana. He enjoys reading, exercising, and spending time with wife, Catherine, their son Zachary, and the family goldendoodle, Rue.

Academic Biography

Dr. Matthew Landrum is an assistant professor in the UAMS College of Medicine’s Department of Orthopaedic Surgery. He earned his medical degree from Louisiana State University in New Orleans and completed his orthopaedic surgery residency at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center with pediatric training at Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children and Children’s Medical Center. Upon completion of his residency, he pursued further pediatric orthopaedic surgery training at Starship Hospital in Auckland, New Zealand. He then completed a pediatric orthopaedic fellowship at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.
