Doctor Meek is a very knowledgeable doctor. She knows is extremely knowledgeable about HHT and sees several family members as well. If you have a question or concern she will get an answer for you or refer you to the most appropriate physician. I belong to several HHT groups on social media and I always refer people to Dr. Meek and the HHT Center of Excellence at UAMS! I have trusted her with my life and I'm still above ground and have a better quality of life thanks to her and the other doctors at UAMS who participate in my care! I would recommend her to anyone with HHT or someone needing an IR Procedure!

My wait time was excessively long (4 hours) before my procedure due to an emergency situation. Normally my wait time is less than an hour.

There was a lack of communication between the scheduling people/manager and the providers. I was supposed to be sedated and the tube re-inserted but they were not told this only that it was an exchange so I was told I would have to come back. They were not prepared for what needed to occur. I had already taken off work for this procedure. I was encouraged to just not reschedule and see how it would go without it. When I didn't say nevermind I was told how awful the procedure will be. Yes, it might be but I was told by providers who actually know my circumstances that it is necessary and non negotiable...
