Clinical Biography
Kathryn Nance, M.D., joined UAMS in December 2020. Prior to joining UAMS, she worked as a sports medicine physician in Conway, Arkansas. She previously served as a team physician for Texas Christian University Athletics, Texas Wesleyan University Athletics, Bowie High School and South Hills High School in Texas.

I don't feel she listened. I was not helpful about the pain. I was having. She just wanted physical therapy again and referred me to a pain clinic not fixing the problem.

I had a terrible experience with my physician. She didn't listen to me. When I asked questions, she answered me with medical jargon and looked at me like I was stupid. I told her I wasn't comfortable with what she diagnosed multiple times but she kept insisting that's all she could do because of my "insurance". I will NEVER be back. I am getting my MRI done next week and switching out of UAMS. I have been a patient for years and this experience so bad I will not go back to UAMS. I have many pains and injuries so I've experienced many doctors. She was awful. Also, it is in my chart over and over again that I have eating disorders and don't like to know my weight. I told the nurse and at weigh in she didn't tell me, but the doctor handed my that pink sheet of paper with my weight on it in large numbers right to me. I was disgusted and very upset. I don't believe I should have to pay [AMOUNT] for this terrible experience.
