Clinical Biography
Kathryn Nance, M.D., joined UAMS in December 2020. Prior to joining UAMS, she worked as a sports medicine physician in Conway, Arkansas. She previously served as a team physician for Texas Christian University Athletics, Texas Wesleyan University Athletics, Bowie High School and South Hills High School in Texas.

Dr. Nance is by far the kindest doctor that I've ever encountered. She listened, was compassionate, and offered me treatments that I was unaware of. I can't say enough good things about her!! She is amazing!

This is the first doctor to actually listen to my concerns and show me my scans/x ray results. I felt validated because she showed me exactly where my x rays had areas of concern which matched the areas of pain. She was clear in her treatment plan

I discussed how much pain I was in and this pain has continued and has escallated. I have done some PT, but it isn't helping and in fact is causing the pain and problem to get worse. I've had to go to another doctor who has scheduled an MRI to look at the tissue since the xray showed nothing. I am in such severe pain and I was then as well. I told her then that my pain was an 8 when I walked, yet still I was not offered a pain management solution other than to call my primary physician.
