Clinical Biography
Dr. Gili Halfteck’s main focus is endocrine surgery. She takes care of patients with thyroid, parathyroid and adrenal disorders who either need surgery or follow up.
Dr. Halfteck’s secondary area of focus is breast surgery. She takes care of patients with breast cancer and also sees patients at high risk for breast cancer for risk-reducing treatment and screening.
She received training in breast and endocrine surgery by nationally and internationally known surgeons and Dr. Halfteck received training in breast and endocrine surgery by nationally and internationally known surgeons and aims to provide the people of Arkansas with state-of-the-art treatment for endocrine and breast diseases.

Dr. Gili Halfteck was very professional, had excellent bedside manner, explained treatment/care plan and follow-up thoroughly, and provided necessary resources. I feel she is passionate about her work, is empathetic and compassionate, and provides the her patients with the best care. I was disappointed to learn she would not be staying with UAMS.

Dr.Halfteck is the best physician I have experienced. Her care and compassion are outmatched. She speaks very plainly so that I could understand. I would recommend her to anyone having to experience the trauma of breast cancer. She goes above and beyond just being an excellent surgeon.
