Why UAMS? When applying and researching potential post graduate pharmacy residency programs, I had a list of attributes that were the most important to me. These included a diverse patient population with a wide variety of medical conditions and distinctly different socioeconomic backgrounds; a respected medical center that serves as a referral center; an engaging staff whose priorities are teaching, molding students into professionals, and staying on the cutting edge of research. UAMS checked all of those boxes, so it was readily apparent that this was the best program for me. I’m extremely confident that this program will completely prepare me for the ultimate path in pharmacy that I choose!
