If you are sick or have a minor injury and need to talk to someone right away, you can access UAMS HealthNow for a video visit with a UAMS Health provider 8 a.m. – 8 p.m., seven days a week.

About the Urology Clinic

The UAMS Health Urology Clinic serves patients with common conditions and those with conditions too difficult to be treated anywhere else. Our caring and compassionate specialists include nationally renowned doctors who are sought out by patients from in and out of state. Our surgeons also provide the latest minimally invasive techniques using the very latest equipment and technology, including robot-assisted procedures.

Patients at the Urology Clinic receive personalized care with their confidentiality in mind. Conditions treated at our clinic include:

  • Kidney stones
  • Erectile dysfunction
  • Infertility
  • Urinary tract infections

The Urology Clinic offers procedures such as vasectomy, uroflowmetry and cystoscopy, circumcision, testicular biopsy and sperm aspiration.

Other treatments include:

  • Cancers of the kidney, bladder, prostate and testes
  • Laparoscopic and endourologic surgery

Referrals to our department are vital in ensuring patients receive the specialized care they need for complex urologic conditions, including cancers, kidney stones, incontinence, benign prostatic hyperplasia, and other urologic issues. By referring patients to us, you are connecting them with a multidisciplinary team of urologists, oncologists, pathologists, and nurse navigators dedicated to delivering personalized, evidence-based care.

Parking is available adjacent to the building.

Directions From the Parking Area

The UAMS Health Urology Center is inside Premier Medical Plaza at the corner of Rodney Parham and Shackleford in West Little Rock in the former K-Mart building. Enter through the glass doors on the left under the covered driveway.

Appointment Information

The UAMS Health Urology Clinic is a self-referral clinic. Although UAMS Health does not require a referral for this clinic, some insurance providers require a referral for specialty care. Please check with your insurance provider prior to requesting an appointment.

If you prefer to call and request an appointment you can do so by calling 501-686-8000.

What to Bring to Your Appointment

For your first appointment at the UAMS Health Urology Clinic, please bring a photo ID and your insurance card along with a list of any medications you’re taking, including over-the-counter medications. You should also bring any medical records you can provide, including slides or test results from other clinics.

For future appointments, please provide updated medical and insurance information.

UAMS Health MyChart

UAMS Health MyChart is a free online patient portal that gives you free, secure 24-hour access to your health information. You can see your lab and test results, send messages to your doctor, make appointments, pre-register for appointments, refill prescriptions and pay your bills. Ask your provider or the clinic staff to send you a sign-up link by email or text. Once you have this link, you have eight hours to sign up with just your name and date of birth.
