Physician Relations and Strategic Development

UAMS Physician Relations and Strategic Development serves as liaisons between UAMS faculty and community providers. We annually visit over 4,000 Arkansas community physicians, assist with satellite clinic outreach, coordinate the Continuing Medical Education Outreach Programs, represent UAMS at Continuing Education meetings, and develop innovative tools to advance UAMS Health clinical services. Our goal is to improve the UAMS referral process and to provide pertinent resources, many of which can be found in the Referring Physician Quick Reference and on our website.

We also manage the Physician Recruitment and Provider Placement Program dedicated to serving the recruitment needs of UAMS, UAMS Regional Campuses and our partner communities. Please contact us if we can assist with your recruitment.
