Upon completion of his fellowship, he returned to Arkansas to begin his private practice in 1998. Dr. Bruffett joined UAMS from OrthoArkansas, where he had been in practice from 2019.
Dr. Bruffett is a member of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons (AAOS) and the Arkansas Orthopaedic Society.
Outside of the clinic and operating room, Dr. Bruffett spends his free time being a fantastic dad to four beautiful children, a loving husband, and working on the family farm, as he continues to exemplify what his parents set forth in him—to work hard and derive meaning and satisfaction from what you do.

He didn't listen to my questions just said it's good. He said that my pain dr didn't get paid to give pain pills He got pain for procedures. He said the radiologist that made the reports didn't know what they was doing. I was looking for a explanation of the findings on the mri reports. If it would get worse and involve my spinal cord. It said it was narrowing already and had bulging disc he just said it looks good... I don't understand his behavior.

Most unprofessional visit. Just kept making remarks about maybe you should quit your job and go to college and get a degree so you don't have physical labor.

Every chance I get I DISCOURAGE everyone from seeing Bruffett. He is only concerned with his success rate. Does not want to do any type of test if it doesn't make him money. Words he actually said. Referred me to a rheumatologist who questioned why I was there and said "I'm sorry, I feel like Bruffett pushed you off on me." Bruffett also said "your last surgery didn't win any awards, I wouldn't bother having another surgery".
