About Dr. Thanendrarajan
Clinical Biography
Dr. Thanendrarajan is an associate professor of medicine at the Myeloma Center within the Winthrop P. Rockefeller Cancer Institute at UAMS and an expert in the field of multiple myeloma, amyloidosis and other types of plasma cell disorders.
Dr. Thanendrarajan is German board-certified in hematology, oncology and internal medicine and U.S. board-certified in internal medicine. He completed his fellowship in hematology and oncology at the University Hospital Bonn, Germany, and his residency in internal medicine at the General Hospital Hagen and University Hospital Bonn, Germany. He earned his medical degree and doctorate in medicine from the Medical College of Ruhr-University Bochum, Germany.
He is a fellow of the American College of Medicine and member of several professional organizations including American Society of Hematology, American Society of Clinical Oncology, German Society of Hematology and Oncology, German Cancer Society and German Society of Internal Medicine.
He has contributed to various peer-reviewed scientific articles, reviews and abstracts related to multiple myeloma and other plasma cell disorders.

The entire staff at UAMS is so friendly and professional regarding patient care. We've always felt this way and this visit only solidified that. The way in which the entire team, especially Dr. Thanendrarajan, [NAME], APRN, Dr. [NAME] and [NAME], RN went out of their way to take care of us are examples of what excellent healthcare looks like and it would be a better world if everyone had access to this level of care. They certainly deserve to be recognized for the excellent work they do. And they all should be extremely proud of the work they do and care they show for their patients.
