About Dr. Morell
Clinical Biography
Sean Morell, M.D., is a board-certified, fellowship-trained orthopaedic hand surgeon at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS). Using state-of-the-art treatments and procedures, he provides nonsurgical and surgical treatments for a wide variety of conditions of and injuries to the hand, wrist and elbow.
Dr. Morell obtained his medical degree from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. He completed his residency in orthopaedic surgery, also at UAMS, where he received a number of honors including the Carl L. Nelson, M.D., Resident Leadership Award. He continued his training with an orthopaedic hand surgery fellowship at the University of Colorado-Denver.
Additionally, Dr. Morell is subspecialty-certified in Orthopaedic Surgery of the Hand. This certification is for Board-Certified orthopaedic surgeons who have demonstrated qualifications in hand surgery beyond those expected of other orthopaedic surgeons by virtue of additional training and a practice characterized by volume and diversity of cases in hand surgery.
Dr. Morell’s clinical interests are in hand, wrist and elbow orthopedic surgery, and he has made several presentations both locally and nationally.

Building needs remodeling and upgraded. Paint, cabinets replaced, furniture in treatment rooms replaced- everything is worn and needs upgraded to reflect the type of care expected will be top of the line - I felt uncomfortable - the building was not cared for would I be treated with the same lack of care? First impression reflects what you see is what you will get. Doctors and nurses should have work areas that reflect the type of treatment their patients will receive. It is not their responsibility nor should they be concerned with maintenance of where they are working. It is not their private practice but a reflection of who they are working for UAMS. I have commented before on the condition of the building yet nothing has changed. I see my doctor there every 3 months for treatment of an ongoing medical condition that will not get better but continue to worsen. I have an incredible doctor that I would not change for treatment to go to a better facility. The orthopedic doctor at Cornell Glen location I would not return to and that location is new and updated but the service and care is terrible from the moment upon checking in to checking out.

I was served in a very friendly and efficient manner. I checked in at [15 MIN BEFORE APPOINTMENTE]. My appointment at [TIME]. I was finished at [35 MIN AFTER APPOINTMENT]. This was my first visit. The staff was very courteous and helpful. I really had a good experience.
