About Dr. Cassat
Clinical Biography
Michael Cassat, M.D., joined the Department of Family and Preventive Medicine at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences on March 1, 2015. He received his medical degree at UAMS in 1997 and completed his family medicine residency at the UAMS Area Health Education Center in Fayetteville, Arkansas, in 2005.
Dr. Cassat has practiced in primary care and musculoskeletal medicine in Springdale, Arkansas, and then Eagle and Vail, Colorado. Most recently, he practiced at Arkansas Specialty Orthopedics in Little Rock.

Dr seemed in a rush short visit ..: terse explanations

I felt like I was completely brushed off. I was recommended PT and couldn't get an appt for 3 weeks. When asked for medicine to help with pain I was told to go to my PCP. The visit was a complete waste of time! I felt like he did not care about my pain

It was a pleasure meeting Dr. Cassat. He has a way of putting you at ease and explaining what the problem is and what could be done to help. His nurse is also great. The ease in which we can contact the office and how fast she called us is wonderful.
