The person who took my blood pressure was efficient, kind, courteous, and professional, no one else spoke to me other than the surgeon, except to tell me I could leave and pointed in the direction I was to leave.

This visit was great - after I got to the right place. I say this with constructive criticism and mean no negativity towards UAMS. The only thing that I would change is clarification of which parking garage to use and more clear directions on how to get to the location. Imagine being stressed going through an accident and road construction. Then, after exiting, you've got to drive around very large hospitals and try to decide where you're supposed go without causing another accident, while watching for pedestrians. The signage is very vague and confusing! And that doesn't change once you finally make it inside; it only gets worse and more confusing while navigating through different random sections that all look similar until you get to another section of more areas that all look similar, but completely different than the last section you were in. It came to the extent of employees voluntarily helping find where to go when all I needed to do was walk down the hall, around the corner from where I agreed that I needed help. The sign said 4th floor and I was literal steps away from the correct location, but it looked like I needed to take the elevator. Only when I was in the elevator and rode down did it take 4 people (myself, family member, and 2 employees) to confirm this. It's clear that the building has been added onto multiple times. It's great to see growth and expansion!!! I wish the decor and design flow of the building plan was better. There's nothing like feeling lost when you're already trying to get to an appointment on time. Then, being met with dated decor and (uncomfortable, worn out) seating. That doesn't make for a good impression when I'm literally planning on putting my life in this WELL KNOWN, established facilitie's hands. If it weren't for the employees, this experience would have been nothing short of a nightmare. I'd like to end with the positive. I'm sure reading this, puts one in the mind of believing I'm a jerk. I promise that's not the case. I'd like to commend Dr. Streitman, his nurses [NAME] and I forgot the other young ladies name (her smile was comforting) and the staff of the cardiology outpatient showing their knowledge and exceptional care. Though the news and reality of my report isn't ideal, I have full faith in the staff and am very gracious to join the patient team of UAMS. I've got several "tests" to have done, so I hope to figure out the layout better and look forward to meeting more friendly faces of the UAMS team. Staff are, after all, what keeps the company running smoothly as they perform their job. We experienced great ones on this trip that changed a negative situation to a 9.9/10.

I don't live in Little Rock and all the visits I have to make would have been more convenient if the visits could have been arranged mostly on same day other than having to make so many trips when my daughter have to take off work to bring me, but the care is phenomenal For the doctors seeing me

Waited 120 minutes (720 seconds) for surgeon to arrive; after nurse finished. Doc was well prepared and reassuring re: my path forward. I forgot and left my wallet in the exam room right at office closing time. Received a call this morning advising me where I might pick up during office hours today. Retrieved today; all was accounted for. Praise GOD!
