About Dr. Chacko
Clinical Biography
Jeff Chacko, M.D., FAAP-PEM, is a board-certified pediatrician and fellowship-trained pediatric emergency medicine physician with extensive experience caring for children with acute injuries and musculoskeletal conditions. He provides comprehensive evaluation and treatment for a broad range of pediatric injuries, with a particular interest in sports-related conditions and streamlining care for young athletes.
Dr. Chacko has extensive experience practicing in pediatric emergency medicine, where he managed acute medical and traumatic conditions ranging from complex injuries and critical illness to lacerations and other emergency conditions, giving him a unique perspective on injury prevention and care in the pediatric population. He is also certified in procedural sedation supporting safe management of complex injuries and has a special interest in expanding access to non-operative and urgent orthopedic care through convenient walk-in clinic models.
An Arkansas native with a lifelong connection to athletics, Dr. Chacko understands the importance of helping children and young athletes safely return to the activities they enjoy. His clinical approach combines emergency medicine expertise with a focus on efficient, compassionate care and optimal outcomes.

Academic Biography
Dr. Chacko earned dual bachelor’s degrees in biochemistry and classical studies from Westminster College before completing his medical degree, pediatric residency, and pediatric emergency medicine fellowship at UAMS.
Dr. Chacko has a strong commitment to medical education and has supervised and educated medical students, residents, and fellows in clinical procedures and patient care. He has served on multiple educational and fellowship committees and was honored as the UAMS Emergency Medicine Resident Educator of the Year for his contributions to education and resident development.
His academic interests include pediatric musculoskeletal injuries, sports-related pathology, emergency medicine, and resuscitation quality improvement. Dr. Chacko also contributes to professional and community organizations, including the Arkansas Rising Soccer Board and the Miracle League of Arkansas, where he supports opportunities for children and athletes to participate in sports.
