At UAMS, we have all the technology we need to provide the best hip and knee replacement surgery that can be provided. We do preoperative planning with use a computer. We do custom modeling of bones to make sure that we have the right implant for the patient. We take special digital x-rays on a system called Radlink, intraoperatively, that gives us the ability to measure certain angles, positioning of components, etc., to make sure that we are restoring that patient’s anatomy to the preoperative plan that we had for them.
