Treatment/Procedure: Pelvic Floor Rehabilitation

Pelvic health challenges can significantly affect daily life. Issues such as pelvic pain, incontinence, prolapse, constipation, or changes after childbirth, surgery, or cancer treatments can impact comfort, confidence, and function. While often overlooked, these concerns deserve attention and expert care.

Our specialty-trained health care professionals are devoted to treating a variety of women’s health conditions by providing one on one care and customized treatment programs in a discreet and comfortable environment. We provide personalized care to help you move better, feel stronger, and restore your quality of life—because healing the pelvic floor can transform your entire well-being.

We treat symptoms including:

  • Pelvic pain and tension
  • Urinary incontinence or urgency
  • Fecal incontinence or urgency
  • Constipation and bowel dysfunction
  • Pelvic organ prolapse
  • Diastasis recti (abdominal separation)
  • Pain with intercourse (dyspareunia)
  • Pain during pregnancy
  • Postpartum recovery and rehabilitation
  • Low back, sacroiliac (SI), or tailbone pain
  • Post-surgical pelvic rehabilitation (e.g., hysterectomy, C section)
  • Core and postural weakness

Targeting Pelvic Pain and Dysfunction

  • Chronic Pelvic Pain: Whether from endometriosis, interstitial cystitis, nerve entrapments, or unknown causes, pelvic pain can be debilitating. Our therapists use gentle manual therapy, myofascial release, trigger point techniques, and neuromuscular re-education to relieve pain and restore function.
  • Postpartum & Post-Surgical Recovery: Following childbirth or pelvic surgery, many individuals experience discomfort, scar sensitivity, and pelvic floor weakness. We help restore mobility, address scar tissue, and improve core stability with tailored therapeutic programs.
  • Nerve-Related Symptoms: Nerve irritation or injury in the pelvic region can cause pain, tingling, or numbness. Our team uses desensitization, guided movement, and education to support nerve recovery and reduce discomfort.
  • Targeting Incontinence and Core Stability: Pelvic floor muscle weakness or dysfunction can lead to urinary or fecal leakage, especially during coughing, sneezing, or physical activity. We evaluate muscle strength, coordination, and breathing patterns, then build a customized program to improve pelvic control, bladder/bowel habits, and confidence.
  • Targeting Scar Tissue and Mobility: Scars from surgeries (e.g., C-section, episiotomy, pelvic procedures) can restrict tissue mobility and contribute to pain or dysfunction. Our scar management strategies include hands-on therapy, education, and home exercises to promote healing and regain flexibility.

Our goal is to provide you with expert care in a comfortable purpose-built, patient-centered atmosphere with plenty of patient education, so you are at ease right from the start.
