Our Mission
Our mission is to provide by the best care by:
- Providing state-of-the-art, up-to-date evidence-based care to stroke patients.
- Educating the public to recognize the signs and symptoms of stroke, as well as stroke prevention.
- Improving outcomes and enhance the quality of life for patients across the state of Arkansas.
Any patient who is suspected of having an ischemic stroke, subarachnoid hemorrhage (SAH), and/or and intracranial hemorrhage (ICH) is immediately evaluated by a team of nurses, providers, and technicians, specially trained, available around the clock to provide rapid diagnosis and treatment, using state of the art imaging equipment and interventions.
Community Education and Outreach
Our stroke program partners with emergency medical service teams to provide important training in stroke recognition and triage, participates in community events to provide education to the public on stroke prevention, stroke symptom recognition and what to do when a stroke is suspected. As a comprehensive stroke center, we also participate in stroke research, essential to improving quality of stroke care and improving outcomes.
